The Design Concept

This kitchen features Bastille shaker doors in a stunning Marine Blue, creating a bold yet elegant aesthetic that suits both traditional and modern spaces. The rich blue hue is balanced by the bright Starlite White Quartz worktops, which offer a striking contrast, and their subtle sparkle enhances the light within the kitchen.

The double Belfast sink is a central feature of this kitchen, positioned beneath a large window to maximise natural light. Paired with a matte black tap, it introduces a classic, yet contemporary vibe to the space. The Belfast sink is not only practical, providing plenty of room for washing large pots and pans, but also adds a vintage touch that complements the shaker style of the cabinetry.

To complete the look, rose gold cup and knob handles were selected. The warm metallic finish adds sophistication and warmth, creating a beautiful contrast against the deep Marine Blue cabinetry. The handles also elevate the traditional shaker design, providing a modern update with a hint of luxury.

Functionality & Storage

Storage was carefully planned to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising the kitchen’s style. The layout includes deep drawers and spacious cabinets that can house everything from cookware to pantry items, keeping the kitchen clutter-free.

The island features several deep drawers that make storing and accessing kitchen essentials a breeze. These drawers glide smoothly and provide ample space for everything from pots and utensils to cutlery and small appliances.

The tall units, which house the integrated fridge freezer, are seamlessly incorporated into the design, offering practical storage while maintaining a streamlined, uncluttered appearance.

Materials & Finishes

The Marine Blue Bastille shaker doors are paired with Starlite White Quartz worktops, creating a harmonious blend of deep tones and light, reflective surfaces. The quartz worktop not only adds a luxurious touch but also provides exceptional durability and easy maintenance, making it ideal for everyday use.

The double Belfast sink is made from high-quality ceramic, offering a timeless appeal and excellent functionality. The matte black tap adds a modern edge, complementing the overall style and ensuring ease of use.

The rose gold handles provide the perfect finishing touch, adding a contemporary feel to the kitchen’s overall classic design. These handles add a subtle warmth that contrasts beautifully with the cooler tones of the cabinetry.

Layout & Workflow

The kitchen layout has been carefully designed to provide optimal workflow. The range cooker is centrally located on the main wall run, with ample counter space on both sides for prep work. The double Belfast sink is positioned in front of the window, making it easy to multitask while enjoying the view of the garden outside.

The island serves as both a practical workspace and a social hub, with a clean, open surface for food preparation. It is ideally positioned to be in close proximity to the main cooking area, making it easy to transition between tasks. The island also features additional storage, making it a perfect solution for storing kitchen tools or displaying decorative items.

Lighting & Atmosphere

Natural light floods the kitchen through the large window above the Belfast sink, illuminating the Starlite White Quartz worktops and creating a bright, airy feel. The overhead lighting is complemented by the warm, inviting tones of the rose gold handles, adding a soft glow to the space.

The pendant lights hanging above the island provide additional illumination, ensuring the kitchen remains functional during evening hours while adding a touch of style and charm.
