The Vision

Ivory kitchens are a classic for a reason—they instantly make any space feel more open and fresh. For this Malahide show home, we wanted to create a kitchen that was not only practical and functional but also felt welcoming and modern. The goal was to maximize the space while keeping things light, clean, and easy to maintain. A kitchen that works hard without compromising on style.

The Challenge

Since this kitchen was part of a show home, we had to make sure it appealed to a broad range of potential buyers. The challenge was to create a layout that felt spacious and well-designed, even in a smaller footprint. It needed to be practical enough for everyday family life, yet stylish enough to feel like a comfortable, well-thought-out space. We wanted to show that a kitchen could be both highly functional and easy on the eyes.

The Design Approach

We focused on using light-reflecting materials and a simple, efficient layout to make the most of every inch of the space.

Practical Quartz Worktops: The quartz worktops were chosen for their durability and easy maintenance. They provide a sleek, high-gloss finish that makes the kitchen feel clean and fresh, while standing up to the demands of daily life.

Clean White Cabinetry: The Fenwick Shaker cabinets in Ivory help to brighten up the space, creating a sense of openness. The white tones are timeless, and they pair beautifully with the other materials to make the kitchen feel airy and spacious, without being over-the-top.

Seamless Integration: We tucked the appliances into the cabinetry to keep the design streamlined and clutter-free. This simple but smart approach ensures that the kitchen remains functional and easy to use, with plenty of surface space for cooking and entertaining.

Modern Touches with Practical Hardware: The black bar handles offer a contemporary look while being practical and easy to grip. Their contrast against the white cabinetry adds a little flair, without distracting from the kitchen’s overall simplicity and functionality.
