1. Warranty Overview
Kitchens4U provides a 10-year limited warranty on cabinet boxes and a 6-year limited manufacturer’s warranty on cabinet doors, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1 Cabinet Boxes — 10-Year Limited Warranty
Covered under this warranty:
- Material defects
- Workmanship defects
- Structural failures under normal use
- Proof of defects must be investigated and proven
Kitchens4U will, at its discretion and upon investigation, repair or replace defective parts on conclusion that the issue is down to a manufacturing or defective material that was used.
2.2 Cabinet Doors — 6-Year Limited Warranty
Covered under this warranty:
- Material defects during the manufacturing process
- Workmanship defects during the manufacturing process
- Damage or issues beyond industry-accepted tolerance under normal conditions
Kitchens4U will provide repair or replacement based on the evaluation and the outcome of the said evaluation.
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation or use
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
- Exposure to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures
- Alteration or modification of cabinets from their original design
- Damage during transportation, installation, or removal by a third party
- Normal wear and tear
- Commercial use (residential warranty only)
4. Natural Characteristics
Wood and painted finishes naturally exhibit variations and changes over time. These include:
- Natural grain differences
- Color variations
- Aging and fading from light exposure or exposure to other substances and atmospheres
- Minor expansion or contraction due to changes in temperatures and humidity
These are natural characteristics and NOT considered defects.
5. Warranty Claim Process
If you believe your product has a warranty-covered issue, please follow these steps:
- Provide proof of purchase
- Provide photos/videos of the issue
- Describe the conditions under which the issue occurred
- Kitchens4U will evaluate the claim and respond within a reasonable time-frame
Replacement parts will be provided FREE of charge once the claim has been processed and the fault is considered to be on the side of Kitchens4U.ie.
All transport and labour costs must be borne by the customer making the claim to have the goods shipped and installed.

Q: My cabinet door changes color slightly over time—is this covered?
A: Normal aging, color shifts, and wood variations are natural and not covered.
Q: If damage occurs during installation, is it included?
A: No, installation-related damage is excluded.
Q: Are labor and installation included in the warranty?
A: No, the warranty only covers the defective part itself.
